Ages
Who can participate in Global Christian Training?
Global Christian Training is for high school groups (9th – 12th grade), college groups, and various adult groups. Sorry no toddlers or infants allowed to accompany groups. Minimum group size of 10 and maximum of 20 participants. Student groups must have one leader per six students, including at least one male and one female leader. All group members MUST stay on site during training (even if they live nearby) as it is part of the overall training. Training begins at 3:00pm. Late participants will not be accepted.
Arrival/Departure
What are the arrival and departure times?
Participants should arrive at Engage Global between 2:30-3:00pm on your training date. Training begins at 3:00pm. Late participants will not be accepted. Check-out is Sunday at 2:00pm. All group members MUST stay on site during training (even if they live nearby) as it is part of the overall training.
Cancellations
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation fee equivalent to five participant fees if cancelled within six months of arrival.
Dress
Is there a dress code?
Dress Code
The following dress guidelines are made to reinforce cultural sensitivity and modesty (please note that depending on the season of travel teams may have to dress uncomfortably as to not offend the cultural groups they will be visiting). Pack light as there are no closets in the dormitories.
- Jeans, pants, and T-shirts
- Shorts and legging are only acceptable inside the dormitory and must be no more than three inches above the knee.
- Women may also wear capris, skirts, and dresses below the knee.
- Comfortable shoes
- Slippers or socks recommended for dormitory cold floors.
- Warm pajamas. Dormitory can be chilly.
- No tank tops, short shorts, sleeveless shirts, or low-cut tops.
Food

Your group will be eating at temples and local ethnic restaurants. Please contact us if there are any concerns of food allergies you or your group may have.

What to bring?
Personal Items
- Bible
- Toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, soap, & etc
- Personal, refillable water bottle. We have filtered water stations in each kitchen.
- Spending money
- Sleeping bag or single bedding and a pillow. Quilts are provided. (Bedding and pillow is provided by EG for those flying)
- Towel (provided by EG for those flying)
